Connect / Lotusphere 2013 Comes To You

The event for Connect / Lotusphere in the north of Germany.

In January 2013, We4IT will participate in the Connect / Lotusphere conference in Orlando- for the sixth time as a participant and for the third time as an exhibitor. Our goal is, once again, to bring this unique exhibition home to Germany for our customers, partners and prospects.

2013 will be the first year when these two important events are held on the same date: Lotusphere, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, is becoming part of the IBM Connect Conference.

IBM believes the name change accurately reflects what the ‘IBM Social Business Story’ originally stood for. The Lotusphere program within the Connect 2013 conference will continue to devote its content primarily to technical sessions.

We4IT and partners (IBM, panagenda, etc.) will present the major topics of the "Connect / Lotusphere Comes To You 2013" event in one day, on 25th February, at Hamburg Airport. Those who are not able to attend the Connect / Lotusphere conference in the States will have an opportunity to experience all the new innovations from Orlando – up close, live and personal!

Concept

2012 was clearly a year of the superheroes. Batman, Spider-Man and The Avengers, to name but a few, all made a return to our cinema screens this year. Continuing in this theme We4IT has named the four conference rooms after our own brand of superheroes!

By expanding the Lotus Domino Designer with XPages components for design and programming, even existing Notes database applications can be gradually modernized to XPages.

The theme "mobility" has become the center of the strategic agenda in many companies. The introduction of mobility measures also brings concerns over cost and reliability, especially when trying to continue the development of business applications without having to accept loss of compatibility.
For the development of a sound mobility strategy it is important carefully consider the requirements. One must also consider an overview of the diversity of solutions, to understand their advantages and unique features and to ultimately achieve the best possible result.

SOCIAL GIRL (Room 4) – Social, collaborative technology for the entire company:
Social Business deepens internal and external business relationships, brand awareness and, as a consequence, profits. This allows a company to maintain the character of a social business, build stronger relationships and to make better decisions with respect to employees, business partners and customers. This dynamic business model, although still in its infancy, is a significant shift which will ultimately be integrated into the entire business landscape.

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, We4IT has chosen to have the conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport. Should you wish to drive to the conference, there will be plenty of parking available.
